Plenty of parking. Surprised they did not offer valet. Went on a Friday night with a group 10 plus. We had a reservation and was sat immediately. Saw several large groups being seated. Also saw several individuals walk in without a reservation and was seated. Menu had a nice selection. Everyone enjoyed there food and drinks We did not order dessert. Will definitely go back.

Enjoyed brunch with a view. My husband and I both ordered the same meal but they looked different. We ordered no onions, mine came with it, he's did not. Overall food was delicious.

My partner and I wasn't able to have an early dinner at another restaurant but fortunately was able to come to Sol Mexican Cocina which was nearby and get seated after a short wait. Things to note, they offer valet parking for $6 which you can add to your dinner tab. Our server was great, he was polite and attentive, making sure our drinks were always filled and helped make some recommendations. As for the food, I enjoyed the beet and watermelon salad with arugula, it was really nice refreshing summer salad. We ordered a couple appetizers, which is always our favorite part of a meal. We started with the Spanish octopus which was okay - not as flavorful as it appears, the sweet corn was delicious - shaved at the table, creamy with some heat. We also tried the hot and raw tropical ceviche which was mixed at our table - I wish it was more spicy and had more fish, there was really only 4-5 chunks of fish and the rest was small shavings. The ceviche came with sweet potatoes chips that appeared to be stale, it was tough and chewy. My partner had the shrimp chille relleno and said he was a little disappointed with the chille, a dish / flavor he grew up eating - not as spicy as it should have been and lacking in flavor. Lastly, I ordered a carne asada grilled burrito that I ended up taking home - I'm not going to lie, we ended up eating the burrito 15 minutes later when we got back home to Newport and we agreed that the burrito was the best dish out of everything we ordered.

It's a nice restaurant and the prices are fair. We got the coconut calamari as an appetizer and was surprisingly good. For main entrees we got the volcano (chicken meal) and Wagyu steak. The volcano meal was heavy in spices and a bit greasy. It's good but if you have stomach issues like acid reflux have something else. The wagyu steak was delicious! It was prepared well and you can taste the freshness of the meat. Server was great and the ambiance was not too loud and enjoyable. After 5pm or so it looks like it does get a little loud. Total bill was about $147 for two. However we ordered a couple of drinks and they add up.

Came here for brunch and a birthday and completely changed my opinion! Their chips and salsa/bean dip are so good and you cannot go wrong with the Bloody Mary and selection of plates for a reasonable price. JC was so amazing in handling our 13 person table and birthday. He was on top of our drink orders, food orders, and made sure we all were taken care of. JC should be an example of how every server should be. Thank you JC for making my friend's birthday brunch so special and making us all feel so special! We can't wait to come back!

Took my two nieces here for lunch on a weekday and it was their first time. I was excited to get their Vampiro Taco which is my absolute favorite thing on their menu. Actually, everything on their menu is top-notch. I've ordered quite a few different dishes here before but I find myself coming here for their happy hour specials. Their drinks are strong and delicious! I stick to the skinny margarita but my nieces wanted their spicy mango frozen margarita which was blended so smooth! Very tasty For food, we had the guacamole dip, corn elote (that's a must) and their white fish ceviche. By the time I finished with the appetizers, I almost didn't have room for my taco! The portions are nice. Service was great. Our server was attentive and hooked it up with the free appetizer for checking into Yelp. I also have the inKind app that gave me even more discounts when you spend a certain amount. I reserved the booths overlooking the water. The scenery was beautiful and ambiance was chill. Loved spending time with my nieces and SOL did not disappoint.
